The Globe-Miami Serbian Cemetery Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and historical stewardship of the Serbian Cemetery located in Globe-Miami, Arizona. Established to honor the memory and cultural heritage of the Serbian immigrant community that helped build this region, our mission is to ensure that their stories, sacrifices, and contributions are never forgotten.

For over a century, this sacred ground has served as the final resting place for generations of Serbian-Americans—miners, laborers, mothers, fathers, and pioneers who sought a better life and, in doing so, enriched the fabric of our local community. Through our work, we strive to protect the dignity of the cemetery, promote its historical significance, and educate future generations about the vibrant cultural legacy of the Serbian people in Arizona.

Our Mission

To preserve and protect the Globe-Miami Serbian Cemetery as a historic and cultural landmark, and to honor the lives and legacies of those buried there through ongoing care, community engagement, and historical education.

What We Do

  • Cemetery Maintenance: We provide ongoing care, restoration, and upkeep of the grounds and grave markers.

  • Community Engagement: We host memorial services, cultural events, and volunteer opportunities for descendants, residents, and supporters.
